Annual 2008/2009

Member Bursaries!

Eligible Sources: Full Delegate Sponsorship to the NACM/CFDD Pacific Northwest Credit Conference or alternate education source as determined by the Executive on application.

Qualifications:

            1) Members may qualify by being active throughout the year attending a minimum of 50% of monthly PCFAC meetings and being a member in good standing (fees paid up to date). By assisting on one or more of the committees of their choosing, members would embellish their standing.

            2) The Executive will consider attendance at the PNWCC conference, a CIC National Conference, a NACM/CFDD National Conference, Credit education courses at S.A.I.T. (semester) or Credit education courses with CIC (semester) to a maximum value of $500 per person. Payment will be made on presentation of evidence of paid invoice of any of the foregoing venues. Consideration of other education venues would be at the discretion of the Executive.

            3) The applicant must show that they are unable to recoup such fees from their member company, or if in the case that the member company pays for only one individual to attend such venues, then a second member from the same firm could qualify for a bursary.

            4) For the 2008/2009 season, PCFAC will make $2000 total available for such purposes, with the funds to be prorated on a % basis should more than 5 individuals request funding.

            5) Non qualifications will be explained in detail by the Executive to the applicant.

            6) All applications should reach the Executive no later than December 31 of each fiscal year.

The above criteria will be monitored by the executive on a monthly basis and suggested changes to the qualification criteria will be reviewed by the Executive on an annual basis.
